For 8 years Serge-Aimé Coulibaly worked as an actor, dancer and choreographer in the Burkina Faso Feeren company directed by Amadou Bourou and toured widely in Africa and Europe. Here Coulibaly choreographed the opening show of the African Football Cup (CAN), Burkina 98 as well as the opening show of the Panafrican Film Festival of Ouagadougou From 2001 he created a number of works in France and also joined the internationally reknown Les Ballet C de la B in 2002. He performed in their celebrated works Wolf by Alain Platel and Tempus Fugit by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. In 2002 Coulibaly founded of his own company Faso Danse Theatre Burkina Faso /France. Besides creating work for Faso he is regularly invited as a choreographer for different organisations all over the world. Such as by Marrugeku in Australia to choreograph Burning Daylight , by Liverpool European Capital of Culture 2008 to create Sugar and by the national choreographic center of Roubaix ( Carolyn Carlson) to direct Mappemonde.
