Concentration and contemplation play a major role for Bach and in dance itself. The exact treatment in ”The Art of the Fugue“, the elucidation of a subject from many points of view, mirroring, going-backwards, ”Spiegelkrebs“ ' mirroring going backwards, enlargement, reduction of rapid tempo, and rhythmical change will be realized within the choreography ' without hearing the music. This experiment wants to find out if the music will be still recognized by the dance. The music of Bach isn’t easygoing entertainment, the goal is to collect its spirit, concentrating listening. This active listening will be referred to the body and be practiced as concentration.
