MEDIATHEK

ZINZI BUCHANAN is inspired by small things, mundane situations [things that don't appear to make a difference], glimpsing other people's private moments and imagining what it is to be other people. She trained in the UK at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance and has since chosen to research through movement improvisation. She has a twin sister and thinks about death almost as much as she thinks about sex. She questions her role as a gendered person and doesn't yet know if she'll ever give birth.
