MEDIATHEK

Irena Tomažin is a performer, dancer and vocalist. She was collaborating with many theater directors, choreographers and vocalists in Slovenija as well abroad (Maja Delak, Sebastjan Horvat, Dragan Zivadinov, Mala Kline, Janez Jansa, Maisternia Pisni, Jonathan Hart Makwaia...). Up till now she did four pieces on her own („Hitchcocks metamorphoses“, „Caprice“, „Caprice (re)lapsed“, „As a rain drop into the mouth of silence“). For her work she received the award of Liberal Academy and a festival award of Gibanica festival. She has a vocal project ‚ʻiTʻʻ, is a member of Bast Kolektiv (Aldo Ivancic/Borghesia) and is collaborating with many other musicians. She is also a postgraduate student of philosophy at University of Ljubljana under the mentorship of Mladen Dolar.
