Michal Mualem practised 9 years of professional gymnastics. She accomplished her dance education in Israel, studying ballet, contemporary, choreographic composition, improvisation contact and Feldenkrais. From 1994 to 2001 Michal danced in Israel with companies such as “Liat Dror and Nir Ben Gal dance company and “Noa Dar dance group, and collaborated with choreographers Inbal Pinto and Niv Sheinfeld. In 2007 she presented “Brown Sugar, her first work as a young choreographer, at the Suzanne Dellal Center in Tel Aviv.
