Mirrordrom questions a phenomenon that is held in high regard in the art scene today: innovation. In the same breath it deals with human representations. The dance performance plays with the idea that innovation is a kind of obsession with variations and changes in external form. This striving for everything that is new can perhaps be traced back to the fact that artists want to find an entirely new form for humans.

Innovation consists of rearranging information that already exists in our mind, body and consciousness. Their source is within, not without.

Die Tanzperformance Mirrordrom hinterfragt ein Phänomen, das in der Kunstszene heute hochgehalten wird: Innovation. Im selben Atemzug setzt es sich mit Repräsentationen des Menschen auseinander. Die Tanzperformance spielt mit der Idee, dass Innovation eine Art von Besessen-Sein mit Spielarten und Wandlungen der äußerlichen Form. Dieses Streben nach allem, was neu ist, kann vielleicht darauf zurückgeführt werden, dass Kunstschaffende eine gänzlich neue Form für den Menschen finden möchten.

Innovation besteht in der Neuanordnung von Informationen, die in unserem Kopf, Körper und Bewusstsein bereits vorhanden sind. Ihre Quelle liegt innen, nicht außen. Die Form von Bewegung funktioniert wie eine platonische Idee. Es ist eine Handlung, die keine Vollendung findet, eine Art Idee, die ihre definitive Form (noch) nicht gefunden hat. Bewegungen blitzen auf. Sie verkörpern mögliche Daseinsweisen, die nicht nur auf der Bühne stattfinden können, sondern prinzipiell allen Menschen offen stehen.
