Beschreibung

On the invitation of the SCULPTURE Festival, which took place in the Georg Kolbe museum in Berlin, Meg Stuart created "rune". The focus of the Festival is the unusual artistic aspect of the inherent sculptural quality in the time-based arts of choreography and music.

Together with dancer Sigal Zouk and musician Klaus Janek, she questions what a sculpture made of dance and sound could look like. The performers tune into their common history, combining improvisation with existing materials. They relate to the works and questions of the exhibition through a riotously fun journey in- and outside of the white box space.

Concept: Meg Stuart

Performance: Meg Stuart and Sigal Zouk

Live Music: Klaus Janek

Production: Sculpture Festival and Damaged Goods

The Sculpture Festival is curated by Carolin Brandl and Hanno Leichtmann.
