commissioned by the Dance Company WOO Co, Dansescenen Kopenhagen
Angela Guerreiro has taken the lives of the four dancers as her starting point, documented through their own camera footage, and created a dance performance with elements of reality TV and a focus on women in 2002.
The four dancers, Charlotte Munch Bengtsen, Sara Gebran, Patricia Seron Pawlik and Amia Miang, who together make up the dance company WOO Co, have spent the last 10 months focusing on and documenting their own lives with a Lomo camera. They have taken the camera with them to work, on work trips to Venezuela, to birthday parties and dinners, to the shower and to bed. They have captured moods, events, people and objects. It is life seen through the lens of the camera and through their eyes, but interpreted by a third person, Angela Guerreiro, that is the basis of the performance.
