>Born in Turin in 1976, she has worked in Italy and France in theatre and contemporary dance venues from 1997. After a few experiences as co-author for showcases and performances, she started creating pieces of her own in 2004. As an interpreter/performer, she has collaborated with Jean Claude Gallotta, Giorgio Rossi, Georges Lavaudant (Théâtre de l’Odéon, Paris), Marco Baliani; she co-creates shows with Antonio Tagliarini and she is currently part of the ALDES dance company, directed by Roberto Castello. She has studied under the direction of Raffaella Giordano, Carolyn Carlson, Dominique Dupuy, Jean Cébron, Malou Airaudo, Bill T. Jones, Ivan Wolf, Nigel Charnock, Karin Waehner, Michele Abbondanza, Antonella Bertoni, Roberto Castello. In 2001 she attended Accademia Isola danza in Venice, under the direction of Carloyn Carlson. She completed a phD in contemporary dance and corporeity in 2004; she conducts a funded research program at the University of Milan, Departement of Performing Arts, where she collaborates in teaching history of dance and leads dance and theatre practical workshops. She additionally collaborates with the Departement of Performing Arts of the University of Torino. She wrote the book, La danza d’autore. Vent’anni di danza contemporanea in Italia, édition UTET, Torino, 2007. Her poject Passo won the Premio Equilibrio 2009, price from the Fondazione Musica per Roma (Auditorium Parco della Musica di Roma). Her creations have the support of Danse à Lille, Festival Interplay/TorinoDanza, Short Formats/Teatro CRT- Milano, Es.Terni Festival Internazionale della Creazione Contemporanea, Junge Hunde, Ass. Sosta Palmizi, ALDES, Spazi per la Danza Contemporanea/Regione Piemonte-ETI. She won the first price from the attendace and the second price given by the jury for the first step of the creation, and then the special price CCAS at the contest (re)connaissence 2010.
