Liisa Pentti is a central Finnish choreographer who has made an impact on the Finnish dance scene since 1986. In her work, movemental and emotional elements are combined to create narrative choreographies. Her style can best be described as postmodern romanticism. Liisa Pentti's recent works, including 1-0, matériel du coeur (Zodiak 2005) and Travel (2006), have been performed both in Finland and abroad (e.g. Germany, Estonia, Lithuania).
