MEDIATHEK

Die künstlerische Vision von KLUB GIRKO ist es, nach neuen und zeitgenössischen Wegen zu suchen, mit Zirkusdisziplinen zu arbeiten und den zeitgenössischen Zirkus mit Tanz, Theater, Musik und bildender Kunst in Beziehung zu setzen.
Getrieben von dem Wunsch, die Dinge in Bewegung zu halten und sich nicht auf einer eingefahrenen Komfortzone oder einem bestimmten Stil auszuruhen. Daher versteht sich KLUB GIRKO als Rahmen für künstlerische Erkundungen, Kollaborationen und Kreationen vielerlei Art. 
Nach der Gründung in den Niederlanden ist KLUB GIRKO seit 2020 in Deutschland ansässig.  Organisiert als Kollektiv, umfasst jedes Projekt verschiedene Mitglieder und unterschiedliche Kollaborationen mit Externen. KLUB GIRKO wurde 2017 von Josef Stiller und Julian Vogel gegründet. 2020 fokussiert Julian Vogel seine künstlerische Arbeit auf das Projekt CHINA SERIES, während Josef Stiller und Moritz Grenz KLUB GIRKO in DE weiterführen.

KLUB GIRKO is a collective that searches for new and contemporary ways of working with their disciplines and relating circus arts to dance, theatre, music and fine arts. They are driven by a desire to keep things moving and not to rest on an accomplished comfort zone or certain style. Therefore, they understand KLUB GIRKO as a framework for artistic exploration, collaborations and creations of many kinds.
After being founded in the Netherlands KLUB GIRKO is since 2020 based in Germany.  Organized as a collective each project includes different members and different collaborations with externals. KLUB GIRKO was founded in 2017 by Josef Stiller and Julian Vogel. Since 2020 Julian Vogel is focusing his artistic work on the solo project CHINA SERIES, while Josef Stiller and Moritz Grenz continue KLUB GIRKO in DE.
