MEDIATHEK

Papelucho at the opera was born as a commission from the Teatro Municipal de Santiago (Municipal Theater of Santiago) for its 2015 Pequeño Municipal (Small Municipal) Season. The purpose of this series of concerts is to open a space for the development of new audiences. It aims to deliver quality shows to children to promote opera, ballet and concerts in the new generations.  In 2015, this cycle completed 10 years and to celebrate it, two wellknown Chilean artists are commissioned to compose a children's opera.
 
Actress and theater director María Izquierdo to write the script and direct the reggie  and composer Sebastián Errázuriz to compose the score.  The work premiered successfully with the public and the specialized critics, including audiences of the 6 years who enjoyed and understood the show.
