MONEY TALKS: But What the Hell is it Saying is an award-winning two-woman show from Hawaii that merges the inspirational aspects of a TED Talk with the glitter and excitement of a Broadway musical.

When international singer/songwriter Lucie Lynch met international author Marcia Zina Mager, they were both grappling with Hawaii’s high cost of living. Despite their 23 year age difference, the two Honolulu-based artists decided to face their life-long financial demons by writing a full-length Broadway musical about money. That 2 year journey transformed into a brazenly honest and hilarious TED Talk-ish musical play chronicling the ups and downs of their financial and creative lives.

MONEY TALKS is more than a musical.  Just as the #METOO movement contributed to the global rise of female empowerment, MONEY TALKS has become a platform for audiences, particularly women, to explore their complex relationship to success and failure.  MONEY TALKS is the first production of its kind to shine an empowering light on the shadowy subject of women, money, and self-worth.
