Swan Bone City

This opera tells a story about a man, an Architect. The one that loves his beloved one. The latter has given the man an utmost challenge – to build a city that could fly as high as her dreams. The Architect has already created worldful of cities. The Love always accepts the new city, but when he approach her full of hope, she always replies „This isn ́t it!”... After many painful and exhausting researches and trials he discovers and ancient and mystical material – the swan bone. These bones are hollow inside, they carry high up into the air and hold the living, spirits and dreams together. This time she will get her city...
 But yet...
Swan Bone City is an opera which again tries to capture the impossibility – to melt  into gold the life´s unelictable temporarity, the greatness of percetpions and heavenly yet earthly dreams. The inner intention of the piece is to solace the happy and unhappy who have chosen the path of passion, sacrifice and dedication. We belive that certain kind of passionate temperament can rise up to the fulfillment of love only by public redemption.
The score combines 3 different languages into a net giving an image of different layers and channels for human communication. The use of diverse styles of singing also underlines the matter of finding ways to reach out for getting in touch. And touch.
