Narcissus is self-‐assured, youthful, beautiful and self-satisfied, but, unlike Hades, he is not powerful,  in a  sense then, this is his one moment of REALLY living.
 
 He is surrounded by Hades, Water and Ferrymen.
 
 In Greek  mythology Hades is both the person / god and the place – the underworld.
 
 Like tidal river, an underworld, the characters are together, ebbing, flowing.
