One-act opera by Alexey Chernakov

Libretto by Marina Antipina after the true story of Margarita Tuchkova, later hegumeness Maria and her husband general Tuchkov, who died a hero’s death at the Borodino.

Margarita decided to stay at the place of her husband’s death and to spend until the rest of her life. Later she founded Spaso-Borodinsky nunnery on the Borodino. 

The opera won the contest for the 150th anniversary of the Moscow Conservatory. The premiere at the Great hall of the Moscow conservatory (may 2018) had a great success.
