On June 17, 2016, the political opera All Rise! premiered at 'De Nieuwe Regentes' theatre in The Hague. This opera by Jan-Peter de Graaff is the result of the collaboration among students from a variety of art academies in the Netherlands and young professional already active in the arts sector. Stichting Wervelwind Muziektheater was responsible for this production. This foundation has been founded by art graduates who feel the shortage of production companies and workshops in The Netherlands has a tremendous effect on their daily practice. Wervelwind Muziektheater supports talented musicians, composers, designers, theatre makers and people from other artistic fields who strive for a career in the arts.The foundation wants to give young artists a platform by making sure that all basic needs are available to operate on a professional level. With All Rise!, young artists from a great diversity of disciplines have proven how to bundle their strengths and how to put a successful production on stage.
