'Thumbelina' is a family show combining elements of musical, acting, dance and acrobatics. Inspired by Cirque du Soleil's achievements and musicals such as Lion King and Matilda we offer a unique, new and spectacular show that will take spectators into the world of dreams, far from everyday life, into the world where pursuing dreams and finding love is more important than chasing money. Our goal is to take our spectators into the world of joy and illusion, and make them believe that any dream can come true.
 
 The starting point for the show is Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale “Thumbelina”. We transformed it into one and a half hour long musical – a story of growing up, searching for one's own self and true love in the garden of life.
 
 Every creature Thumbelina meets and interacts with shows us, in a metaphorical way, challenges young people are facing in the contemporary world.
 The girl has to face arranged marriage in the name of tradition when confronted with the Toad, she is excluded from a hermetic subculture group of cockchafers, fights doubt and despair when meeting Butterfly, considers trading her freedom in exchange for money when talking to Mole, to finally realize that true love is the one that gives us wings to realize one's true potential and brings happiness in the process.
 
 Thumbelina will find her true love when she understands her own needs, appreciates her own life and the garden she lives in.
