Futurustic opera Victory over the Sun is more about symbols than storyline. Audience should not try to understand the irrationalism which appears and breaks all opera standards. This opera celebrates technology development with dementing tradition of speech. Several art directions are meeting here: absurdic drama, nonsens, radical futurism, modernism, suprematism, constructivism and elements of surrealism.

Scene is filled with elements of cubism. Lights during the opera helps to show symbolism of secondary plan (meaning).

Music is not dominant component, however, it helps to underline visual experience. In the opera are long passages with spoken word, which is sometimes mutated by electronic effects.
