"Therapie" is a musical for one actress and two musicians. It tells the story of the psychoanalysis of a woman with Dissociative Identity Disorder. The actress plays the roles of the psychoanalyst, the patient and four other characters. Apart from being an entertaining, yet serious story, the play also deals with form of theatre. A woman enters the stage and plays different characters who the audience first accepts as different people. In the course of the play it becomes clear that those other characters are just parts of the patient’s disorder. Only the psychoanalyst is still perceived as a separate person. In the end the spectator understands that the psychoanalyst is actually the patient and that everything that happened on the stage was simply her imagination.
