The performance was filmed by Andrzeja Sapija between 22 and 24 February 1990 for Television Theatre during the Cricot 2 guest performances in the "Stodola" Students' Club in Warsaw organized by Teatr Rzeczypospolitey. The critics considered the play to be Tadeusz kantor's artistic biography. Its world prèmiere took place in Milan on 24 April 1988, while the Polish viewers were able to see it later at the Stary Theatre in Cracow.
The performance stars Tadeusz Kantor as I-In Person who talks about his life and art while characters from his previous plays meet on stage.
