Moving Pictures – What happens in a field, at sea, in the sky? Who moves the stars? And who the sun? How are butterflies born? Where do birds come from? And where do we all fly away to? Small events between heaven and earth. Hana Voříšková draws and paints pictures that she has decided to put into motion and to show to audiences as little theatre mini-stories. The techniques she uses are drawing, flat puppets, shadow play and flying objects. She performs on a table, inside a cardboard box and in free space. Music and directorial assistance is provided by Helena and Jiří Vedral, who play the guitar, violin, musical boxes and percussion to accompany the pictures that come to life.
Hana Voříšková (1964) – Artist and art teacher in Choceň. Moving pictures have brought her to art theatre and puppet theatre, above all using paper puppets. She performs in small theatre spaces and in homes, and works with musicians, creating miniature theatre videos for songs.
