Burtonjuice - The production is an embodiment and a visualisation of the exceptionally magical work of film wizard Tim Burton. It is also a fictional depiction of Burton's childhood and youth, when he first began to develop his peculiar and almost boundless imagination, inhabited by countless strange and wonderful beings, living their bizarre stories. At the heard of the actions is 'Tim Bártn', an outsider and also a totally exceptional boy, who likes to make things up and likes to take risks. He faces two difficult journeys: the journey to realise his own artistic dreams, and the possibly more complicated journey to his father, who wakes him each morning with the words 'Dreamers end up on the scrap heap'. The hero enters into situations reminiscent of Tim Burton's life and films (such as Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish, The Corpse Bride and so on). On a general level this "play with time and chance with five wheels" is a celebration of human imagination. It is also, however, a picture of the process of growing up that Tim goes through on his journey, which for now finishes at the bedside of his dying father.
