"Images of Another World" a Documentary on the work of Nita Liem. Nita Liem is a Chinese dancer/ choreographer who lives and works in the Bijlmer, Amsterdam. From the 90ties on she has a prominent place in producing theater, working closely with the younger crowd. The angle she uses for her theater is the urban youth culture, but with her very own interpretator she gives new form to this group target.Images from another world will be an mood- impression, showing Nita’s form and vision. The movie will show us how to create short choreografy through improvisation. How does a creation takes its form through soul and inspiration? The angle that's will be used for the improvisation are the five Chinese element wood, metal, earth and water.
