In this video, you will see a dance-acrobats duo performing at the Zirkus ONstage - Pro Festival, a showcase presenting projects from the yearly creation program, offered to contemporary circus artists in and from Germany since 2019. "René" was accompanied during the creation process in the 3rd Zirkus ON edition 2021-2022  and explores the concept of reboundingin a rectangular space. The video captures the essence of movement, emphasizing the joy of discovering variation and diversity within apparent sameness at festival venue Pfefferwerk, Haus 13 at Pfefferberg.

René is common ground – dance acrobats Xenia Bannuscher and Dries Vanwalle explore the concept of rebounding in a rectangular space. They delve into the essence of movement, emphasizing the joy
of discovering variation and diversity within apparent sameness. This meticulously choreographed piece showcases the human aspects of collaboration, highlighting the shared experience of success and
failure. René transcends virtuosity, inviting the audience to the depths of collaboration and the power of togetherness. René is the first piece by the company and premiered in 2021 at the PERPLX Festival in Belgium.

Oktober 2021 in Kortrijk (BE) beim PERPLX Festival statt. „Die Arbeit steht ganz im Zeichen der Wiederholung. René ist Minimalismus versus Virtuosität. In Verbindung mit der Komposition entwickelt sich eine intensive, meditative Qualität, die man sonst von Minimal Music kennt.“ (ZirkusPlus)
