2- Tete en L’Air, or “head in the sky,” conveys a sense of wonder as dancers traverse a staircase filled with trap doors. Inspired by the work of French filmmaker Jacques Tati, Tete en L’Air depicts the journey of isolation faced by citizens in the modern world. Bewildered by endless commuting, relocating, fear of intimacy, and fear of the ultimate destination, the performers seek transcendence. - See more at: http://www.diavolo.org/repertoire/tete-en-lair/#sthash.J9ECOrQ3.dpuf
