The story evolves like a series of postcards
or pictures of a reality situated between
excess and shortages. As if it were about a tourist, the selected postcards are those that
defend or point at concrete facts of life.
Moving from the whims to the most precarious
necessities, just like clippings of
a television news bulletin.
In a toing and froing between the choreographic and the theatrical discourse, people
present themselves, speaking of the need of
affection, of the need to be important, of
what it means to them to be alone or in company, to be confused in specific places, and
to never stop seeing them all, those
who laugh and those who live in horror...
The piece evolves in a completely aesthetical frame and is narrated by women. It shows
photos of what we are capable of doing in order to feel at peace, calm and in balance.
The piece begins in the external world, a world that responds directly to the eye. From
there, it travels to a slow, restful and calm place of dreams.
