“I am working with two limited movement patterns. These patterns unfold into a choreography through two interweaving processes. Through a process of recognition and by paying a close attention towards an individual logic of a given gesture, and through a process of negotiating directions, rhythm and intensity while moving. What do you really miss? The title is a quote.” 

MARYSIA ZIMPEL studierte Tanz und Choroegrafie im HZT-Pilot Projekt Berlin und Cultural Studies an der UAM in Poznan, Polen. Sie ist Autorin verschiedener Soloarbeiten: Pure Matter, Epic, Working like a dog. In den Jahren 2010 bis 2012 arbeitete sie mit dem Wiener Performance-Kollektiv God’s Entertainment. Im Mai 2012 ist sie von Kattrin Deufert und Thomas Plischke zum (En)tropical Institute eingeladen worden und tanzte in Isabelle Schads Music und Experience#1. Derzeit arbeitet Marysia in dem interdisziplinären Projekt Phantomic Sensation mit Gaja Karolczak und Martyna Lorenc.
