With Emlék (Nevess Remegve), first performed in 1998 in Budapest in the Autumn Festival, video first became an integral part of the dance. Conceived for the inauguration of the Trafò Centre for Contemporary Art, this piece is a reflection on the subject of memory. In subsequent productions the company developed a method of tying together live and pre-recorded video with movement and music. The aesthetic universe was thus anchored to the subject matter.
