„I have been listening to baroque music and allowing the music to infiltrate my state of being and movement vocabulary. For this piece, I delved into modes of compulsive ornamentation and of exhausted collapse and allowed them to overlap one another, to give rise to one another, to negate one another, and to be in dialog with one another. Also, half-way through the process, this piece was completely re-worked around the limitation of a sprained knee, which made most of the movement floor-bound.” Lily Dwyer
