This piece revolves around French and Spanish choreographic performers plus three musicians: one French, one Japanese and one Spanish; with the mission to establish the relationship between dance and music, not written or learned, but unpredictable and insolent.
In this regard the stage is transformed into a space of exchange for guest artists who can be present or not in the representation, choose or not to work with the core of performers, or intervene in other media: texts, images…
The title of the piece refers to Goya, to his black paintings made in Madrid towards the end of his life, at a moment when he was going deaf. Starting out from this reflection, Catherine explores the different symbologies related with deafness, wondering what we develop when we lose one of our senses. The Maison, the Casa, the House considered as the site of intimacy, of unconscious sleep and dream, the place of interruption or at least the limit with the murmur of the outside world.
