Les inconsolés expresses a time following an event, moments that cannot be wiped away and for ever last. Les inconsolés attempt a return trip of privacy between the violent occurrence of a first emotion and the recurring imagery of its reconstitution. Where faces are brushed away between void and appeasement, where gestures mingle: from the blow given through play to that of persecution, from the gasping for fun to those sticky, disturbing that belong to excitement, from the desire provoked as an amusement to the stunning stroke of its hasty realization. Les inconsolés mingle in jarring mirror games, games of alliance and dis-alliance. They also are the absences and the phantoms, they are in love, they are furious.
