Aseptic Zone or Lithuanian Songs / Extremum Mobile

Beschreibung
I. Aseptic Zone or Lithuanian Songs (2004,30min.) ...explores the problems of social adaptation and the failures of mutual communication between the individual and the surroundings. Conflicts fueled by territorial, political and gender-related delimitations are explored as well as conflicts arising from contradictions imbedded in the human being himself or herself. In this piece as main motive interlace our and not only our nation past with this day. Time, when we were protected, ruled and demarcated from world around us. We were struggling, fighting, trying to break out, sometimes even surrendered to general beat, yet we were laughing sometimes through tears. We are seeing this day as well, when our live is more and more ruled by forced rules. Huge property inequality is dictating itself live models and again puts us in Zone. II. Extremum Mobile (2001, 30min.) A voyage through space and time is marked by the rejection of literature, senses and emotions. The body becomes a fulfilling form and a driving power. Alongside with ringing dissonances of music and mechanical sound, bodies are exposed to a transforming circle from a human being into a brute or an inanimate object. They evade clearly defined contours. However, at the same time the beauty of the deformed bodies is made prominent. (Quelle: www.aura.lt) / jst
