The rich local dance tradition of his tribal culture is the strongest influence for Jecko Siompo’s unique multicultural dance vocabulary. »Terima Kost«, the piece that Siompo is touring for the first time in Europe, shows people hovering between two worlds; it’s about rural youth moving to Jakarta, where they sublet tiny apartments.
