»Look at me, I’m Chinese« entstand mit Tänzern aus Peking, Guangzhou und Shanghai und stellt Fragen nach dem Zusammenhang von Kultur und Körper, individuellem Leben und kollektiver Erfahrung.
»Look at me, I’m Chinese« was mostly created in China with dancers from Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai. It questions the relation between culture and the body, individual life and collective experience. The piece opens up a perspective onto a young Chinese generation; they are self-confident with a willingness to test their individual identities and social restraints.
