Allege

Allege" untersucht die Möglichkeit einer Handlung, die nicht von außen bestimmt ist, sondern aus sich selbst heraus entsteht. Was kann ich tun oder nicht tun, um ein Feld ungeahnter Möglichkeiten zu eröffnen?

"Es ist ein alter Mann, der ein Kind sein könnte, das eine Frau sein könnte. Dinge ineinander stecken, gießen und entfernen und sich gegenseitig in Dinge stecken, Mop und Spielzeug. Blasen von bedeutungslosen Welten schaffen, das ist sehr wichtig.

Es ist ein Affe, der ein Hund wäre, der eine Schnecke wäre. Den Raum zu lenken, Stillleben zu schaffen, allem, was noch willkürlich aussieht, einen Sinn zu geben, einen Sinn in seine Ordnung zu zwingen. Es sieht willkürlich aus, aber das ist es auch schon.

Das, worüber ich schreibe, ist nicht das, was es ist. Es ist nahe an dem, was wir denken, dass es ist, es ist weder eine Kunst für die Zukunft noch eine Kultur für jetzt. Es sind fünfhundert Zitate, die in ein paar Plastikflaschen versteckt sind. Es handelt sich nicht um eine geometrische Demonstration. Es geht nicht um Clément Layes, es ist kein Rockkonzert, obwohl das toll wäre. Es ist nicht nur ein Happening, es ist auch ein Unhappening, es ist nicht ambivalent.

Es begann 2002 und ist noch nicht zu Ende: zuerst war es ein Quartett, dann ein Trio im Jahr 2004, dann ein Duo, 2007 wieder ein Trio, und jetzt ist es ein Solo, wir haben unterwegs Leute verloren, es war zu schwierig, nur ich bin geblieben, ich versuche es immer noch. Im Durchschnitt haben wir weniger als eine Person pro Jahr verloren, also denke ich, dass ich noch mindestens ein Jahr vor mir habe, dann werde ich sehen, vielleicht lasse ich die Dinge in Ruhe." 'Allege' examines the possibility of an action that is not determined from the outside but is created from within itself. What can I do or not do to open up a field of undreamt-of possibilities?

„It is an old man that would be a child that would be a woman. Putting things into each other, pouring and removing and putting each other into things, mop and toys. Creating bubbles of meaningless worlds, these are very important.

It is a monkey that would be a dog that would be a snail. Directing the space, creating still lives, making sense for everything that still looks arbitrary, forcing meaning into its order. It looks random, but that’s anyway about it.

What I’m writing about is not what it is. It is close to what we think it is, it is not an art for the future nor a culture for now. It is five hundred quotes disguised in a few plastic bottles. It is not a geometric demonstration. It is not about Clément Layes, it is not a rock concert although it would be great. It is not only happening, it’s also unhappening, it is not ambivalent.

It started in 2002 and is not finished yet: it’s been a quartet first, then a trio in 2004, it moved to a duo, went to another trio in 2007, and now it’s a solo, we lost people on the way, it was too difficult, only me has stayed, still trying.
