"In Visita Guiada (Guided Tour) paper tissues, matches, cigarettes, tampax, sweets and similar products are taken out of a supermarket bag. Products we use carelessly every day. They are like a second skin, a wardrobe more delicate than dresses, shoes and pants. Products made for intimate contact with the skin and with the aim to create a certain aesthetic and posture. As such, it is better not to minimize their role in the unfolding of the game. This tragic performance, brought onstage in a plastic bag, shows that all the products we use - from the most interesting to the most boring - have a word to say in the biography of our body. A body as product, but also as producer: of landscapes, discourses and hierarchies that separate North from South, adults from children, women from men, the living from the dead.
