"I never have any fun" Situation 4 from Lack of North. 

Email is faster than a speeding bullet and can cross oceans with a single keystroke. It has revolutionised communication. Last year, performance artist Ami Garmon used this medium and sent Richmond musician Paul Watson some of her songs from her home in Europe. “I wrote five of them and he chopped them into pieces,” says Garmon. These five recombined songs form the basis of Lack of North — Situation 4: I Never Have Any Fun, a dance and music collaboration.

E-Mail ist schneller als eine Kugel und kann mit einem einzigen Tastendruck die Ozeane überqueren. Sie hat die Kommunikation revolutioniert. Im vergangenen Jahr nutzte die Performancekünstlerin Ami Garmon dieses Medium und schickte dem Richmond-Musiker Paul Watson einige ihrer Songs aus ihrer Heimat in Europa. „Ich habe fünf davon geschrieben und er hat sie in Stücke gehackt“, sagt Garmon. Diese fünf rekombinierten Songs bilden die Grundlage für „Lack of North - Situation 4: I Never Have Any Fun“, eine Tanz- und Musikkollaboration.
