Projekt 2007 is a collaboration between three individual artists: Nuno Cera, Rafael Alvarez and Sílvia Pinto Coelho.
Their interaction is like a "game", where they offer each other as tool of work, rather than trying to make a co-creation.
In its premiere, Projekt 2007 is presenting a video proposal by Nuno Cera "O sonho" (Der Traum), and a performance proposed by Sílvia Pinto Coelho "Süβ", that interacts with the installation proposals by Rafael Alvarez.
"Süβ" Merging dance techniques, states of awareness of the body, and body techniques we get close to an ironic over view about now-a-days body. How does this body feel? How does this body get trapped into self awareness, in "wellness", in "New Age", in hedonistic and narcissistic practices, in total abandonment, or in black out states? How does one body relate with techniques and technical devices?
"Süβ" (installation) drives us to a vision of the performance where space and time work as a landscape to be inhabited. In Rafael Alvarez' research, physical actions interact meanfully with the objects and its functions. Aiming to objectify the body, he continually proposes new movement geographies where body and time are merged into a narrative of space and object. In this work, he collaborates with Sílvia Pinto Coelho, giving her the objects and the space for her to inhabit and interact with.
