"Store at room temperature" is a co-authorship project that examines the pathetic/ pathos and its presence in society. Therefore, the objectives of the project are focused on exploring the perception of pathos in modern society and debugging its modern and familiar meaning (such as hyperbolically, outrageous, or overdone expression) with a search for different/new ones (such as suffering, illness, passion, warmth, or the sublime). Authors are interested in observing this dance performance as an intimate place where they can play with the process of choreographing everyday and common human states, which become pathetic in moments when being honestly represented. Taken out of everyday context and placed in the frame of theatre, even though perceived as funny, absurd, trivial, vulnerable, boring, personal or illustrative, on a human level they become powerful.
Store at room temperature was developed within ca ollaboration between Aleksandar Geoegiev and Igor Koruga during an artistic
residency at Trafo Theatre and Jardine d’Europe Workshop Foundation in Budapest. A teamwork of these two artists had
been established previously at Nomad Dance Academy 2009 educational programme, within projects …This figuration in
C-minor… and Treshol (in process “D”).
