In their improvisation Wind up, Maria Colusi, Roberta Ricci and Edgardo Rudnitzky explore about the idea of cyclicality, that all things exist as inseparable and contradictory opposites or pairs of equal opposites that attract and complement each other. Less like “opposing forces”, and more “complimentary forces” which constantly interact, never existing in absolute stasis”. The constant path of uniting opposites and the pursuit of seeking balance. Where do the beginning and the end occur in the interaction? What causes them?

MARIA COLUSI (Argentina) is a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. She has worked in Argentina at the Ballet Contemporaneo del Teatro San Martín. In Europe she worked with Sasha Waltz, Heike Henning and William Forsythe among others. Her choreographic and interdisciplinary work was supported by the Distanz-solo, Akademie der Kunst, Darstellender Kunst (DE) and Antorchas Foundation (ARG). Her works have been performed in several venues as Radialsystem, ,MaerzMusik ,Pilharmonia Szczecin, DOCK11, Berliner Ensemble, ZAK, Soundance Festival, Festival Plataforma,Centro Artistico Grattacielo ; a.o.



ROBERTA RICCI (Italy), is a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. She has been working in several state theaters as well as for independent companies, realizing projects in many parts of Europe as Cadmium compagnie in Paris, Movimento Danza in Naples, REVOLVEr Dance Theater in Berlin, among others. She develops her work, alone and in collaboration with a variety of artists, presenting her creations at festivals and venues as Sophiensaele, DOCK 11, Uferstudios, Soundance Festival, Laborgras, Festival Teatro Italia, PAN Palazzo delle Arti Naples a.o. She is a co-founder/artist of the Company HAA.



EDGARDO RUDNITZKY was born in 1956 in Argentina. He is a composer, sound artist and percussionist. He has worked for many years as a composer and sound designer for theater productions, contemporary dance and films and has presented his own installations, including collaborations with visual artists. His work has been presented at numerous festivals and exhibitions: 51 Venice Biennale; Yokohama Triennale; Natural History Museum Halle,Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Theater der Welt Berlin, Festival de Cannes, Berlinale; among others.

In ihrer Improvisation Wind up erkunden Maria Colusi, Roberta Ricci und Edgardo Rudnitzky die Idee der Zyklizität, dass alle Dinge als untrennbare und widersprüchliche Gegensätze oder Paare gleicher Gegensätze existieren, die sich anziehen und ergänzen. Weniger als „gegensätzliche Kräfte“, sondern vielmehr als „komplementäre Kräfte“, die ständig interagieren und nie in absoluter Stasis existieren. Der ständige Weg der Vereinigung von Gegensätzen und das Streben nach einem Gleichgewicht. Wo liegen der Anfang und das Ende der Wechselwirkung? Was verursacht sie?

MARIA COLUSI (Argentinien) ist Tänzerin, Choreografin und Tanzlehrerin. In Argentinien hat sie beim Ballet Contemporaneo del Teatro San Martín gearbeitet. In Europa arbeitete sie unter anderem mit Sasha Waltz, Heike Henning und William Forsythe zusammen. Ihre choreografische und interdisziplinäre Arbeit wurde von Distanz-solo, Akademie der Kunst, Darstellender Kunst (DE) und Antorchas Foundation (ARG) unterstützt. Ihre Werke wurden an verschiedenen Orten wie Radialsystem, MaerzMusik, Pilharmonia Szczecin, DOCK11, Berliner Ensemble, ZAK, Soundance Festival, Festival Plataforma, Centro Artistico Grattacielo u.a. aufgeführt.



ROBERTA RICCI (Italien) ist Tänzerin, Choreografin und Tanzlehrerin. Sie hat an mehreren staatlichen Theatern sowie für unabhängige Kompanien gearbeitet und Projekte in vielen Teilen Europas realisiert, u. a. mit Cadmium compagnie in Paris, Movimento Danza in Neapel und REVOLVEr Dance Theater in Berlin. Sie entwickelt ihre Arbeit allein und in Zusammenarbeit mit einer Vielzahl von Künstler*innen und präsentiert ihre Kreationen auf Festivals und Veranstaltungsorten wie Sophiensaele, DOCK 11, Uferstudios, Soundance Festival, Laborgras, Festival Teatro Italia, PAN Palazzo delle Arti Naples u.a. Sie ist Mitbegründerin/Künstlerin der Company HAA.

EDGARDO RUDNITZKY wurde 1956 in Argentinien geboren. Er ist Komponist, Klangkünstler und Perkussionist. Er arbeitet seit vielen Jahren als Komponist und Sounddesigner für Theaterproduktionen, zeitgenössischen Tanz und Filme und präsentiert eigene Installationen, auch in Zusammenarbeit mit bildenden Künstlern. Seine Arbeiten wurden auf zahlreichen Festivals und Ausstellungen gezeigt: 51 Biennale von Venedig, Yokohama Triennale, Naturkundemuseum Halle, Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Theater der Welt Berlin, Festival de Cannes, Berlinale u.a.
