Sandhya Daemgen received a B.A. in Cultural Studies and Dance in 2008 from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, USA. From 2004-2008 she was co-director, choreographer and dancer in Precision Dance Company. She curated and danced in Skittles Art Exhibition in 2008 and received a one-year grant from the Baden-Württemberg-Stipendium, studying Art History in Freiburg, Germany. In 2010 she choreographed and danced in Patchwork on Stage in Berlin and started teaching dance classes in The Center. In 2011 she assistant-produced Move Berlim dance festival in HAU Theater. She has worked with Tino Sehgal, singing in "This You" in Potsdam, in addition to assisting with the set and stage design for Tino Sehgal/Ari Benjamin Meyer’s "Symphony X" piece in Spring Dance 2012.
