Information

Martin Františák (born 1974) - Františák was born in Valašské Meziříčí, where in his early youth he was a lyricist and performer in several underground bands. He studied at the Theatre faculty of JAMU in Brno, first theatre education and then drama direction under Arnošt Goldflam. He worked as the chief director in the Polárka Thetre in Brno, and is now the artistic head and director in the Petr Bezruč Theatre. He is a guest director in other Czech theatres, and is also the leading artistic figure of the Jana Honsa theatre company in Karolinka.
