Wanda Moretti, choreographer, specialized her studies on dance on the systems of the proportion and harmony of space. In particular, her artistic work focuses on movement in relation to works of arts, as well as urban and natural architecture. Her research is mainly on the influence of structured space on human movement by means of a detailed analysis of perception and subjects, linked to twentieth century and contemporary art. She is the author of Vertical Dance Project, a program research begun in 1990 and based on the study of space in its social, cultural, and architectural forms. This has developed into a site specific performance. Parallel to her work as choreographer, she has also carried out research on the educational potential of dance in the social field, schools and museums.
