Graduated from the Paris Opera and having a successful career in mainly Grands Ballets Canadiens, it's Denise Biggi, who saw the fortunes of the company Spells The Dances of the World since 1999. Under his leadership, the company has reached new heights both administrative and artistic. During a 2006-2007 season, the company presented no less than 140 times to the delight of more than 40,000 spectators, making it one of the Montreal artistic companies most active in all categories. In late 2007, saying its mandate fulfilled, the company wishing to put in the hands of specialists in folklore and wanting to meet new challenges, Denise Biggi leaves Spells The Dances of the world to join the creative team of Cirque du Soleil.
