iulia Mureddu, Italy (1973). Giulia studied 'Modern TheaterDance' at the University for Arts in Amsterdam and went on to work with Shusaku Takeuchi, Paul Selwyn Norton, Rogie & Company, Dylan Newcomb, Leine & Roebana, Hans Hof Ensemble and Anouk van Dijk among others. Over the last few years Giulia Mureddu (IT/NL) has brought out several productions such as: Bava (2006), Mighty MatPogo (2007), Beige: a guest-choreography for Dansgroep Krisztina de Chatel (2007), Escaping Grey (2008), Liquid Space 6.1 on commission of Oerol Festival (2009) and the duet Amore e Merda (2009). Mureddu is also a cofounder of Danslab in The Hague, an incubator for dance research. Currently Giulia Mureddu is supported by dance production house Danswerkplaats Amsterdam. Besides in The Netherlands her work is presented at several international festivals including Cyprus, Italy, Czech republic, UK, Romania and the Arabic Countries. In 2010 Mureddu will make a new creation for the Dansgroep Amsterdam and is invited in international venues in Poland, Slovenia and United States. (Quelle: http://www.giuliamureddu.com) / jst
