PORTO FRANKO Art Foundation is a founder and organizer of international Festival PORTO FRANKO in Ivano-Frankivsk, which was in the seasons 2016-2018 one of the biggest Festival for performing and contemporary arts in Ukraine. The Festival is a "place of power" that combines inseparable things that mix styles and directions, languages and religions, a place where people are free from class, social, political and other conventions, can feel free to create and perceive true art. PORTO FRANKO specialized on realisation of large-scale performative music-theatrical events, like futuristic opera AEROPHONIA (opera for airplane, NOVA OPERA and live-electronic, opening show of PORTO FRANKO 2018 for 9000 visitors) and others.
After 2015, Composers and founders of PORTO FRANKO, Roman Grygoriv and Illira Razumeiko working in a close cooperation with Gogolfest and NOVA OPERA have created 9 medium and large-scale music- theatrical performances, which were presented in Ukraine and internationally (Rotterdam opera days, Prototype festival and La Mama Theater in New York, Macedonian and Ukrainian National opera houses, Gdansk Shakespeare Festival, Musikverein in Vienna, Big Opera Hall in Lublin and many more). In 2019 PORTO FRANKO created together with the theater company NOVA OPERA opera-dystopia GAZ, production that was presented in Kyiv National Drama theater, Vienna (WUK, Musiktheatertage WIEN) and New York (La Mama Theater).
