高尚的穷人 (The Noble Poor)

Beschreibung

The works are based on the well-known Russian writer Lev Tolstoy's novel "The Poor", which is based on the narrative poem "Poor Man" by the French writer Hugo. The works truly reflect the miserable life of the Russian working people during the dark reign of the Tsars and their noble and sympathetic noble character.

The chamber opera “The Noble Poor” used this theme to call for and promote the noble qualities of self-denial and the simplest and softest human nature in people’s hearts.

The works mainly describe a poor fisherman and his wife, Sanna, who after the death of her neighbor Simon died, regardless of her family's poverty and children, she decided to adopt two of her children in a determined and resolute manner. In the script adaptation, we strive for a high degree of integration of logic and dramatic, and always highlight the theme of good and noble quality.

The plot lay full of tension and explosiveness, and strived for the perfect combination of music and drama. The lyrics and lyrics are highly consistent with the pronunciation and habits of Chinese pronunciation, making it easier for the audience to understand, and thus guide the audience's emotions. The two protagonists, Sanna and Fisherman, chose the mezzo-soprano and bass in the voice position respectively to express the heroine’s worrying but weak and defensive character and the hero’s kindness and seriousness.
