Story of Shapes – Extended Blue Konzept: Elma Riza Performance: Mireia Aragonés, Elma Riza Sound: Eric Wong Die Geschichte begann im Januar 2015 als eine Soloarbeit und wurde erst kürzlich erweitert. Eine sich in stetem Wandel befindende visuelle und akustische Komposition fragt nach den imaginären und realen Räumen. Die Performer und Musiker arbeiten auf der Basis von Formen und bearbeiten verschiedene, sich aus diesen visuellen Elementen ergebende Aspekte und Themen. Für Augenblicke werden die Körper zum Stillleben und in Verbindung mit einer minimalistischen, pulsierenden Klanglandschaft zu einem Element der visuellen Komposition, bis sie zu Bewegung und Improvisation zurückspringen. Es ist ein permanenter Wechsel zwischen poetischer Fiktion und bildlich realer Hinterfragung. "Story of Shapes – Extended Blue" ist eine immer noch in der Entwicklung begriffene Arbeit. Der Fokus dieser Arbeit liegt auf dem Prozess und wir verstehen die Installation somit als Praxis. Es ist ein nie endender Prozess, jede Performance ist gleichsam neu, aber dennoch die Fortführung aller vorherigen. Blau sehen fordert einen bestimmten Blick von mir, es lässt sich durch eine bestimmte Bewegung meines Blicks erfühlen. Es ist ein bestimmtes Feld beziehungsweise eine Atmosphäre, die sich meiner Sehkraft und meinem Körper anbietet ("Phänomenologie der Wahrnehmung", Maurice Merleau-Ponty, 1945) // ENGLISH // The story began in January 2015 as a solo work and became recently extended. This research is about imaginary and real space, a visual and acoustic composition in constant transformation. The performers and musician work with the idea of shapes as a starting point and deal with the different aspects and topics emerging from this visual element. The bodies become a still picture for a moment and part of the visual composition, along with the minimal soundscape and pulses, jumping back to movements and improvisation. It is a constant change between abstraction and a living story, questioning how space can influence us and our actions, and change our perception of time. "Story of Shapes – Extended Blue" is a work in progress, we give the focus on the process and for it understand the performance as practice. It's an endless process, each performance is new but at the same time the continuation of the last one. "Story of Shapes" is about a sensitive dialogue between the body and the shape. The improvisation switches continuously between poetic fictions and graphic research. For it we use tapes to have the possibility to change every time the configuration of space. Blue is what solicits a certain way of looking from me, it is what allows itself to be palpated by a specific movement of my gaze.
