YOKU-BOU „Gier auf Lust“, japanisch, heißt Gier auf Lust und ist Ausgangspunkt für die Recherche, zu dieser interdisziplinären Performance. Lust und Gier sind starke Antriebskräfte unseres Handelns, Fühlens und Denkens. Gier kommt von Begehren oder Begierde. Es ist ein seelischer Antrieb Mängel geistiger (Emotionen, Phantasien, Wünsche) oder körperlicher Art (Triebe, Schmerz, Hunger, Durst) zu beheben. Neugier führt zu Entdeckungen, Erfindungen, Entwicklungen und Habgier äußert sich negativ in Raffgier, Hab- und Raffsucht und bezeichnet das übersteigerte Streben nach materiellem Besitz unabhängig von dessen Nutzen. Lust ist die angenehme Weise des Erlebens und ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Trieb- und Bedürfnislehre. Lust zeigt sich beim Speisen, sportlichen und kreativen Aktivitäten und als Bestandteil sexuellen Erlebens.

YOKU-BOU “Desire for Lust”, Japanese, means desire for lust and is the starting point of the research for this interdisciplinary performance. Lust and desire are strong driving forces for our actions, feelings and thoughts. Desire is deeply connected with craving and greed. It is a mental drive for dealing with deficiencies of psychological (emotions, wishes, phantasies) and physical nature (urges, pain, hunger, thirst). Curiosity, the craving for knowledge, leads to discoveries, inventions and development. Greed on the other hand is the negative manifestation of desire and describes the excessive pursuit of material wealth regardless of its practical use. Lust is the pleasant way of experiencing things and is a vital part of our basic drives and needs. Lust can present itself in dining, athletic and creative activities and as part of experiencing the sexual act.
